February 4 – Wise Rest

Rest should play a large part in the lives of My followers, for tiredness and physical strain can cause man to lose his consciousness of My Presence.

Just go step by step. My will shall be revealed as you go. You will never cease to be thankful for this time when you felt at peace and trustful, and yet had no human security.

That is the time of the True learning of trust in Me. “When thy Father and Mother forsake thee, then the Lord will take thee up." This is a literal dependence on Me.

When human support or material help of any kind is removed, then My power can become operative. I cannot teach a man to walk who is trusting to a crutch. Away with your crutch, and My power shall so invigorate you that you shall indeed walk on to victory. Never limit My power. It is limitless.

“God has spoken once; twice have I heard this;
that power belongeth unto God." Psalm 62:11

放下拐杖（2月4日）

只要一步一步地走，你們一走，我的旨意就必顯明出來。當你們在沒有人擔保的情況下，仍能感到平安和信靠的時候，你們要為此不住地謝恩。這乃是真正學習信靠我的時候。“我父母離棄我，耶和華必收留我。”（詩廿七：10）這才是真正倚靠我。

每當任何人們或物質的幫助都被挪開時，我的能力才得以運行。我不能教導一個倚靠拐杖的人走路；甩掉你的拐杖，我的能力就必充滿你，使你能真正走上得勝之途。永不可限制我的能力，它本是無限的。

Only believe. The walls of Jericho fell down. Was it axes or human implements that brought them down? Rather the Songs of Praise of the people and My Thought carried out in action.

All walls shall fall before you, too. There is no earth-power. It falls like a house of paper, at My miracle-working touch. Your faith and My power — the only to essentials. Nothing else is needed.

So, if Man’s petty opposition still holds good it is only because I choose to let it stand between you and what would be a mistake for you. If not — a word — a thought — from Me, and it is gone. The hearts of Kings are in My rule and governance. All men can be moved at My wish.

Rest in this certainty. Rely on Me.

遭逢敵對（2月3日）

只要相信，耶利哥城倒塌了，是用斧子或是人呢的器械攻塌的嗎？毋寧說是我百姓的讚美歌和我的心意，付之於行動而帶來的。

一切的城牆也要在你們面前倒塌了。屬地的能力，都如無有，我的神蹟作為一碰到它們，它們就要像紙糊的房子一樣倒塌了。你們的信心，加上我的權能，只有這兩樣要素，再用不著別的了。

這樣看來，人細微的敵對若仍然存立，不過是因為我選擇它來放在你和你的過錯之間；若非出於我，不論一句話或一個思想都必離開了。眾王的心，都在我的統御和管理之下；一切的人，我都能隨心所欲地調動。

要安息在這個事實裡面，信賴我。

February 2 – My Wages

If the world understands you, then you are speaking its language, actuated by its motives, living its life according to its standards. Will you have this?

Remember I said very clearly, “Ye cannot serve God and mammon." If you serve God, then, for your work, you should surely look to God for reward.

So many of My servants serve Me, and yet expect to receive the gratitude and praise, or at least the acknowledgment of the world. Why? You are not doing the work of the world. Why expect its pay?
我的報酬（2月2日）

如果世人了解你們，那麼，你們就是正在說他們的語文，被他們的動機所鼓舞，按照他們的標準過生活！你們願意有這些情形嗎？

切記我清楚說過的話：“你們不能又事奉神又事奉瑪門！”如果你們事奉神，那麼，你們實在可以仰望我給你們作工的工價。
